In the event of a water damage it is important to remove the water as quickly as possible. This is done by extracting any standing water. The next step is placing drying equipment in the affected areas using our drying fans, dehumidifiers, and air scrubbers. Our initial goal is to dry out as much as possible, but sometimes water amounts are too excessive. Therefore, in finished areas it's often necessary to remove carpet padding and either clean or replace the existing carpet depending on the severity of the damage. Before drying equipment is put into place the entire affected area will be deodorized and treated with an anti-microbial agent to prevent the growth of mold.
